I really can't say enough good things about Carrie! I feel really lucky that we came across her. She has been spending time with Gus for the past few months and it's been wonderful. Not only does Gus have a fun time with her, but it gives up peace of mind knowing that we have someone we can trust with our "baby" and our home. Carrie shows much concern about Gus' well being by sharing advice on how to care for him based on her own experiences. She has shown much interest in making sure she is using the same commands with Gus that we are which is very important with a puppy. We also enjoy reading notes that she leaves every day to tell us of the adventures they had. Carrie takes Gus on walks, watches him play with ice cubes, blows bubbles for him, or has another dog over for playtime. She has even attempted taking Gus to Greenlake! I was very nervous about hiring a dog walker for my dog Oscar. Oscar is a very smart Jack Russell Terrier and at the time I was looking to hire a dog walker he was only four months old. Oscar needed a firm yet loving hand to take care of him every day and I needed to know that whoever walked my dog would follow all the rules and instructions pertaining to training that I had for Oscar and that I could trust this person with my puppy. I couldn't be happier to have found Carrie. I know that she follows all the rules we have concerning how Oscar must act because his behavior has not deteriorated one bit, it has only improved. Also, Carrie is careful to check with us about new behaviors to make sure whether she should encourage or descourage it. I adopted my 1yr old Golden Retriever, Pilot, just three months ago and desperatly needed someone to care for her when I went home for Christmas. I really didn't want to put her in a kennel. Thankfully Carrie came to the rescue! She came to my home twice a day for over a week--playing with Pilot, taking her to the park, even teaching her to retrieve! She also took care of the house, plants, and Pilot's messes...oops.
Now Carrie comes to walk Pilot twice a week on the evenings I have class. It is wonderful to know that Pilot will be loved on the nights that I'm away. I look forward to coming home to the cute notes that Carrie leaves for me--little updates about the adventures she had with Pilot! Carrie has been an absolute life saver for us. Our baby Gabby was very bored and unhappy staying at home alone while my husband and I were at work. She is a little "excitable" as we like to call it and we wanted to find a way for her to have some fun and burn off some of her excess energy during the day. Thankfully we were lucky enough to find Carrie. From the time we all met her, we knew there wouldn't be any problems trusting her with the furry member of our family and our home. Carrie is a treasure! She lives with our boys in our house when we go on trips creating as normal an environment as possible for our two spoiled rescued pups.
